Three Reservoirs Walk - October 1st

Posted 2/10/2016

Today's walk was 7.21 miles in length, starting from Ingbirchworth and walking in near perfect autumn walking conditions around the three local reservoirs of Ingbirchworth (stunning), Royd Moor and Scout Dyke, we took a diversion to the Windmill Viewing Area on Royd Moor and for a coffee stop / lunch at the cafe at Windmill Nursery.

A few new things seen today with the walk around Ingbirchworth Reservoir is quite lovely and the permissive paths around Scout Dyke Reservoir are... good too. Thanks to the 16 people who attended, especially Kasia, Stella and Marilyn who attended their first Saturday walk and joined in with our general silliness superbly and sorry to report that Steve P was docked all points for today's walk for breaching committee ethics by heckling other committee members and finally welcome back to Roy Smith who walked with us again after a long absence.
