Warram Percy Walk - Saturday 20th june 2015

Posted 21/6/2015

A party of eight adults and one child took the rather long trip to complete this walk which allowed us to look at the remains of this medieval village. The walk also took in extensive stretches of the Centenary Way, Yorkshire Wolds Way and the Chalkland Way which all in turn inspired the imagination for future walks in the Yorkshire Wolds area. Well done to every one who completed this walk.

Less should be said about about the unfriendliest pub in Yorkshire where we were unfortunate enough to call, The Cross Keys at Thixendale - so not recommended.

Our day was rounded off in more friendly surroundings at The Black Swan in Wetwang.

Well done Craig Lindley for organising this one and almost getting the navigation right.
