Cresswell Crags Walk

September 26th 2015 | Posted 27/9/2015

Fabulous countryside walk through the lanes and fields surrounding Cresswell Crags, and Welbeck Abbey.  The sun smiled down on our gang of intrepid wanders as we completed our 8.7 mile walk.  Near Belph, we were enticed into the Pennygreen Tea Garden's and enjoyed cake and drinks before setting off on the final push for home.

A few additional scenic routes (minor detours due to map reading issues!!)were taken  as we plotted our route through this splendid landscape. An enjoyable day in the September sunshine.

Well done to everyone who completed this walk, especially Diane Marshall who clocked up 50 miles YTD on this walk and to Alison Hartley for stepping in as walk leader today.
