Snow Road Evening Walk - June 21st

Posted 21/6/2017

Our 2016/17 season drew to a close tonight with a lovely 3.6 miles walk starting from the Dog & Partridge on Bord Hill near to the Flouch Roundabout.

The walk climbed the Snow Road bridleway to the top of the Woodhead Pass climbing to South Nab trig point to enjoy the views over the reservoirs over the Dunford Bridge area.

It was a steady walk back down the Snow Road to complete this easy, showery walk before returning to the Dog and Partridge for an end of season beer.

Twenty two adults and three children, plus one carried child enjoyed this walk.

Well done to Alison Hartley who chalked up 100 miles season to date on this walk and welcome to Peter Bremner who walked with us for the first time today.
