Peddars Way - 10 Years On

Posted 24/4/2017

So this coming weekend, our Peddars Way walk will finally be upon us. This walk is being done by DVWG walkers ten years after the group's founders David & Terence and a friend Duncan Bower completed the same walk, as their interest in country walking grew.

This interest led to the formation of DVWG, the group which we all support today.

A large group of DVWG's finest will be completing some or all of the walk next weekend, lets hope that the sleepy towns of Thetford, Swaffham and Hunstanton can cope with our excesses of post walk socialising.

Wishing everyone who is walking a safe journey to and from the walk and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did the first time.

On a final note, I hope the weather is much better than last time, there were two days & nights of torrential rain during our 2007 effort.

Good luck to all and see you there.

David Kirk

Chairman - DVWG
